Typical applications

Design and operation
Vibrating grizzly screen feeders are fully floating, linear motion units supported on compression springs, and are driven by highly reliable direct force exciters, through drive motor and cardan shaft coupling. Depending on design, certain models are driven by a pair of unbalance motor exciters.

 Deep side plates, connected by huck bolted cross beams, ensure high rigidity. Wear surface is provided with abrasion resistant liners. Dc electrical brake systems are offered as option to prevent occurrence of resonance vibrations during stopping operation of the unit.

Correct adjustment of the direct force exciters provides optimum combination of amplitude and speed to suit each application requirement. Oil bath lubrication ensures trouble-free operation even in hot and dusty atmosphere.

Upon request, a separate isolation frame can be provided, for mounting the grizzly unit, which is also spring floated and fitted with hydraulic shock absorbers to facilitate smooth start / stop without excessive resonance vibrations. Electronic vibration monitoring system can also be offered for on-line condition monitoring of a grizzly unit in actual operation.

Our typical twin motor vibrating  tubular feeder , 304 stainless product contact surfaces, with all internal welds ground smooth. Unit is supplied to a leading manufacturer of plastic pellets. Inclined Vibro Grizzly Feeder :Inclined Vibro Grizzly Feeder is suitable to feed primary jaw crushers, selecting the large sizes which require primary crushing, the smaller sizes, and any fines which must be eventually rejected. The grizzly vibro feeder consists of a very large vibrating body made of thick plate, with inside lining of anti-abrasive plate. The grizzly vibro feeder is driven by two or four vibrating motors. The vibro feeder (which may either be placed on a steel or concrete base) rests on springs(grizzly feeder). 

(side mounted vibro motor type) boosting throughout of primary crushers:    A robustly constructed range of vibratory machines extending from units 0. 5m wide x 2m long up to units 1. 5m x 4. 5m.     The grizzly feeders are intended primarily for use ahead of primary crushers and are designed to handle large run-of-quarry stone, take the impact of dumped loads and smooth out the flow of material to the crusher.  All models of grizzly vibro feeders have a flat reinforced impact area followed by a sloping grizzly bar section.The longer grizzly feeders are fitted with two stepped, grizzly bar sets. Replaceable wear sections of mild steel, manganese steel or rubber are fitted depending on the duty specified.

Construction:  Of rugged construction throughout, grizzly feeders are designed to handle run of quarry stone up to 1000mm lump size.     The plain section is lined with a 12. 5mm minimum thick replaceable plate in mild steel as standard, with abrasion resistant manganese steel and rubber elements as options.

The Star Trace Vibration Meters 1050H is a handheld analog instrument designed for a large variety of vibration measurement applications. It can indicate True RMS vibration displacement.
